Darvish Hussein Waleh Heravi is a poet whose life and works are unknown except for general and brief information, and scattered verses in bibliographies and dictionaries due to his unpublished poetical works. However, he is the only poet whose works have been praised by the Indian famous poet and thinker, Abdolqader Bidel. In this paper, after introducing Darvish Hussein Waleh and glancing at his life and works, we have tried to investigate his poetic style and explain some of the similarities of his poetic way with Bidel using available verses in bibliographies and dictionaries,in particular those in Bahar-e-Ajam and Majma-o-Nafayes compiled by Laletic Chend (known as Bahar) and Serajuddin Ali Khan Arezu, respectively.Since Waleh had lived some decades before Bidel and his last years of life coincided with Bidel's youth life, and taking into account the meetings and  communications between them, it seems that Bidel has been influenced by Waleh after studying Waleh’s works and being interested in his poetic style. In addition to introducing one great figure in Indian’s poetic and literary styles in this study, we will also introduce one source of Bedil’s poetic style.
